Founded in 2012, Animals and Laws promotes the respect and protection of all animals all over the world. AAL believes in the inherent value of all animals and that we have a responsibility to protect them from suffering and exploitation. We work together to promote new policies and legislation in over 20 countries. We assist our international partners in regional campaigns to establish uniform standards for the welfare of animals through strong legislation.
Our team includes, policy experts, attorneys, campaigners, scientists, veterinarians, educators, rescue workers, and volunteers, all dedicated and determined to create a better world for both human and non-human animals.
We believe that comprehensive and effective national and international legislation is essential for the protection of animals from exploitation and suffering.
